Chamchi Jeon (Canned Tuna Pancake)
This is one of my favourite side dish. It's commonly dish found in Korean lunch box. It's easy to make with just a can of tuna and some vegetables. Kids would love this dish too. You can dip it with some mayonaise or ketchup for some added flavour.
Ingredients:
Serving size: 2
Tuna 1 can (net weight 185g, drained 130g)
Onion (medium size) half (minced)
All purpose flour 2 tbsp
Corn flour 1tbsp
Garlic 1 (minced)
Sesame oil 1tbsp
Egg (large) 1
Cooking oil 4 tbsp
Steps by steps photos:
1. Open can tuna and drained all the water.
2. Add in chopped onion, garlic, egg, flour, corn flour and sesame oil. Mix all the ingredients.
3. Heat the pan and add in cooking oil.
4. Shape the tuna mixture with a spoon and place it in the pan.
5. Fry about 2 minutes on each side over medium heat or until they turned golden brown.
6. Take out from the pan and serve~ :)
